Robert F. Stayman (1946-2013)
Bob Stayman was a partner in the firm for 40 years. Although he developed and demonstrated particular expertise in Construction Law and Banking & Finance Law, he was also a valued legal advisor to numerous business enterprises, medical professionals and individuals from all walks of life.
During his long career at the firm, Bob served as lead trial and appellate counsel in many jury and bench trials. He also participated in numerous complex construction arbitrations. His positive spirit, incisive analytical skills and his dignified service to clients added immeasurably to the firm’s performance and reputation.

At various times he served as Chairman of the Board of WNIN, the local public radio and television stations, Chairman of the County Board of Health, Board Member of United Way, President of the local branch of the American Cancer Society, and Chairman of the Evansville Race for the Cure.
In 1968, Bob received his undergraduate degree in English Literature from DePauw University, and in 1973 he graduated from the University of Michigan School of Law. He served as President of the Evansville Bar Association in 1988.
Bob was a native of Chicago and an unashamed lifelong fan of the Cubs, the Bears and the Blackhawks.
