Clay W. Havill
Clay Havill is a partner with the firm who focuses his practice in Litigation. He practices in State and Federal courts primarily in the areas of commercial litigation, employment disputes, family and municipal law. Clay was recently named by Super Lawyers as an Indiana Rising Star for 2016.
Clay earned his law degree from the Indiana University School of Law- Indianapolis in 2007, graduating cum laude. He was born in Washington, Indiana, and received his undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Evansville in 2002. While at the University of Evansville, Clay was heavily involved in the Men’s Soccer Program, where he served as a three-year captain and was selected as an Academic All-American. One of his best memories during his time at the University of Evansville was participating in its Study Abroad Program at Harlaxton University in Grantham, England. After graduating from UE and prior to entering law school, Clay served as the Assistant Coach for the University of Southern Indiana Men’s Soccer Team.
Clay serves on the Evansville Bar Association Board of Directors and is currently the President Elect. He also serves as the Vice-Chairman on the Board of Directors for WNIN Tri-State Public Media, Inc., the tri-state’s public radio and television provider. Clay is active with his alma mater, the University of Evansville, where he serves on the Harlaxton Society Board of Directors and is a founding member of UEFC, which supports the university’s men’s soccer team. In his free time, Clay enjoys coaching youth sports with his kids and supporting the Aces.
